Client reviews
What our clients say, on Google
Fifteen reviews published on the firm’s Google listing, every one of them five out of five. We can neither write them, nor edit them, nor take them down.
This is the one page on this site whose content we did not write. Every text is the one its author published on Google, reproduced in full — we touched it once only, to remove a price figure.
Some of these reviews are about roofs: a complete re-roof, a leak fixed in a single day, a roof window fitted, a Velux made watertight again. Others are about a façade, a fence, a stone retaining wall. We have left them in, and we say for each what the job actually was: presenting a fence as roofing would be precisely the shortcut this site refuses to take.
They are given in both English and French, whichever language they were written in. A translation is labelled as one.
The only company to provide a quote and to turn up. Faultless work, they were also polite and professional. Would definitely recommend this roofing company. MBS then completed the roof repairs and we were confident enough in their professionalism to leave them with our keys. We were provided updates as well as videos of the work that was […]

Between 2020 and 2022, Mr Moulard did a wonderful job on my old village house in the Aude valley. We asked him to extend the house by taking in an adjoining old storehouse and turning it into a living room. Mr Moulard carried out all the work himself, using traditional methods. He salvaged some […]

I first called on Kevin for a major repair to an old stone retaining wall, very high and several metres long. Having taken the wall down, Kevin excavated the ground behind it and built a reinforced concrete block wall in its place, which he then faced with the original local stone. Impeccable work […]

Mr Moulard did an excellent job installing a rigid fence around our garden. He also felled several trees. Five years on, the fence still looks brand new.

A roof is worth looking at before talking about it
Call, or describe the situation in a few lines. You will get a straight answer about what can be done.
What they agree on
What comes back, review after review
Fifteen people who have never met each other insist on the same four things. These are not our talking points — they are theirs.
-
The site left clean
“How clean he left the site afterwards.” “They left the site cleaner than they found it.” “He cleared away all the rubble himself.” Three different people, on three different jobs.
-
Updates when you live far away
“Several updates by video and photo — which counts for a great deal when you live far away.” “We were provided updates as well as videos of the work being carried out.” A second home is either followed at a distance or not followed at all.
-
Being trusted with the keys
“We were confident enough in their professionalism to leave them with our keys.” “We have left him our house with complete peace of mind while we were away.” It is the most concrete form of trust a client can put in writing.
-
English spoken on site
”Speak very good English.” “He speaks good English and explains carefully everything he does.” A good part of the valley’s clientele is English-speaking, and says so.
